Carneil Water Well
The Need
Safe, clean drinking water
How we helped
Repaired the town’s only water well

A Broken Well Flows Again
Northwest of Thomassique lies the town of Carneil—a community with just one water well to serve several families.
More than a month ago, the well stopped working. It has been extremely difficult for families to find other ways to obtain water, which they then must boil to remove bacteria and contaminants.
Our local liaison, Enel, received an urgent request from the community asking us to consider their needs. The cost to repair the well was estimated at $1,500.
Thanks to your faithful contributions, we were able to send the funds needed to repair the well. And today, we’re happy to report that the well is working—and water is flowing again!
See the joy on the children’s faces as they pump clean water from the newly restored well. What a gift!
In a community that could use two or three wells to support their needs, the restoration of this one is a lifeline—and a reminder that God sees every need.
Thank you for being part of the answer. Praise the Lord!
