Build a safe, secure home for a widow and her family
Sister Joseph Clunie has lived in Mirebalais for her entire life, and raised eight children all by herself after her husband passed away. With the help of Hope Rising Haiti, this faithful widow now has a safe, secure home to protect her and her family from the elements.

Sister Joseph and her family lived in a little, broken house that protected them from the sun, but couldn’t protect them from the rain and storms. When the rainy season came, the water leaked in through the roof and made the floor muddy, and they were unable to stay dry or prevent any of their things from getting wet.
When we heard about Sister Joseph’s situation, we wanted to bless her with a new home. She is grateful for the help that God provided through Hope Rising Haiti. “I am very lucky because I have the opportunity to find someone who can help people like me,” she said.
With the help of Hope Rising Haiti, this faithful widow received the blessing of a new home to keep her safe and dry, along with a private latrine and shower area.
Praise God for His faithful love and mercy to allow the funding to build this new home. Please continue to pray for Sister Joseph and her family!
