The Thomassique School provides a great education for local children in Haiti, offering them opportunities and hope for their future. With the help of Hope Rising Haiti, the school was able to expand to meet the needs of more children in the community.

Families in the Thomassique community know that their children are getting a solid education at the local school. However, the success of the school also meant that there wasn’t enough classroom space to accommodate all the children.

With the help of our friend Withjean, the school’s superintendent, Hope Rising Haiti was able to develop plans to complete eight new classrooms for the children. Our local contact recently spoke with staff members at the school, and they shared how thankful and blessed they feel to receive this gift.

“These classrooms are so important because we want more kids to have an opportunity for their future. We prayed for it and we thank all of you. There aren’t enough words to express how we feel,” said one teacher.
