How do you build 219 benches in 4 days? With lots of helping hands and lots of love!

Pastor Jethro from Sarazin provided 6 men, and Theo Prophete (Project Manager), provided another 5 men. We are blessed to be able to work with these talented and hard-working men and provide them tools, supplies, and training to build their own benches. They now have what it takes to build more benches in the future.

The newly constructed Sarazin Church and School needed 63 church benches and 50 school benches. And the 8 new classrooms in Thomassique needed 106 school benches.

Our team planned and calculated all the supplies needed. Theo purchased the lumber for us so that we could start building the moment we arrived. Thanks to Theo’s preparation and our Haitian friend’s hard work – we exceeded our goal of 200 benches in 4 days, and were able to build an extra 19 benches.
